Opinion: Could KU be too nice?

Just because fans are critical of a team doesn't mean they are spoiled. Even when they were winning the team wasn't playing well. After the TCU game, how could you possibly say "We're still 19-3" Thats great if all you are after is a nice record. I'm looking at building into March. These guys are getting worse. I just don't understand how we can be so bad at shooting outside shots. Midmajors are loaded with teams that are nails when it comes to hitting 3's. These guys are unbelieveably bad. You would think they would get lucky and make a few from time to time.

KU facilities fix lies in West Campus

I'm with you. That track around the stadium makes us look like division II. Although the track team needs a place, they can do fine at Lawrence High while we make our stadium D-I worthy.

Bill Self: Loss gets Jayhawks’ attention

Yes, great ideas but these should've been hammered into their brains in November. I don't trust this team. They can say all they want but they are just words. Reference the Morris twins last year then throw up a horrible game against VCU. I shouldn't be worried about Detroit but I'm sure they will play well for the first half and we will have to pull away in the second. Nothing will come easy in this tourney.

It takes two: Kansas draws Detroit in Omaha, Neb. had everything I was looking for and I was looking for some serious stats. has good team stat. But the former has a listing of wins vs top 50, 100.

Because Vitale was in a room at the arena or hotel after he finished calling the ACC tournament game. He couldn't get to Bristol to be with the other guys. Happens every year. Just stating a fact.

Because 4 of the last 7 years KU has lost to a team that was 8 seeds lesser than themselves. No wonder nobody in the nation really takes us seriously. We DO NOT hold up our end of the deal when it comes to the tourney. Its the truth.

Come on. At least give it to them for having a decent football program. They are far from mediocre. Give credit where credit is due.

All for 1 ... or 2: Jayhawks say seed doesn’t matter

I don't give a flip if we are a #1 or #2. Big Deal! I'm more worried about the consistency of this team. I definitely don't want to be the first #1 to lose a tourney game and who knows with this team. A #2 is fine with me. (I don't see us getting a #1 anyways) The opposing teams doesn't care about the seed. They just know they are playing Kansas and we have to be ready to match the intensity of these lesser seeds.

A clean sweep: Tyshawn Taylor talks it up after KU victory

We just won a tough road game. We are still far away from a conference title. I hope that Mizzou game doesn't come back and bite us in the behind. The pressure will be solely on KU for that game and MU will have nothing to lose. If we lose that game, and it cost us the conference, then that will be the worst case scenario. Even though we have owned them, I would hate to think they go off to the SEC with a victory at Allen Fieldhouse. I love how hard these guys are playing but mark my words, the #2 and #3 man will be the downfall of this team. We need production on offense from Elijah, Conner and Travis. They play great D and deserve to be out there for that but they bring nothing to the offensive end. Just being a realist.

Toughened up, Jeff Withey ‘fabulous’

I only hope, come crunch time, Withey can play PG. He is our best free throw shooter.
