Jayhawks lament lack of consistency

I read a lot of posts of how bad last year's O-line was, well that line was light years ahead of this year's line. At least we could run the ball. We need some players to step it up big time.

Hard-earned goal: In quest to play, KU soccer's Salazar tackles grueling course load

Some of the cry babies that have left the football team should read this story!!!!

Rice O-line coach, former KU aide John Reagan sees promise in Jayhawks' D-line

The Rice offensive line pushed Texas A&M around all night. Our defense played well the offense needs to improve vastly!!!!!

Lone-star letdown: Offense disappoints in KU's 23-14 loss to Rice

I certainly think Heaps can improve but the great receivers catch everything that is thrown NEAR them. Our receivers can't even catch the balls thrown right AT them. Watching yesterdays Bama- A&M game with 2 great QBs, they bot had receivers that make plays. Until we can do the same we are in trouble. You can not totally rely on a run game in today's football and consistently win. Teams like Bama and LSU that use to run the majority of the time are now passing teams.

KU signee Joel Embiid praised for defense at Jordan Classic

I too am excited, the skills are raw but Coach Self and staff will mold him. The thing I like by watching the game is the way he moved and ran the court. Most seven footer can not move that well

KU freshman Rio Adams to transfer

Coach Self is a tough but fair task master, but I believe that Rio would have been better off to stay IF he wanted to work for a starting job or more playing time. Nothing is guaranteed in life you have to work for it, but if you believe your fortunes are better off some place else, good luck Rio you will be missing a lot of fun next year with the talent we have coming in.

Statehouse Live: Bill would require KU to play Wichita State University in basketball

You would think with all of the problems in this country that politicians would have better things to do that this idiotic idea. Scheduling should not be legislative fodder.

Bill Self questions team's toughness, desire following home loss to OSU

A lot of the attention is on EJ and perhaps rightfully so, whether he likes it or not he is our point guard now not a shooting guard and so when the shots are not falling as a point guard you do not continue to shoot (aka 3-14) but look to set up those that can make shots and focus on not commiting so many turnovers. Note a lot of fans blaming this on a poor offensive performance, REALLY, we scored 80 points. The truth is we did not play our usual very good defensive game and for those railing over ugly defensive wins, how well do you like them now.

Bigger, badder Jeff Withey better blocker

KUDOS to Norm Roberts. I was worried that the play of our big men would suffer when Danny Manning left, but the beat goes on

Persistence on and off court defines Kevin Young’s journey to KU

Can't enough how much respect I have for his Mother. It is not the easy road that she took with raising him with tough love but it has sure paid off now in a truly wonderful young man.
