KU athletic director Sheahon Zenger on football program: 'We will get this thing fixed'

In the last five games we have been out scored 90 - 7 in the 3rd quarter. The 7 was against OSU's second string defense. The margin could have been worse. OU and OSU scored 3 and 7 points in the 3rd quarter with their second string offences. K-State pulled their first string offence two minutes in the 3rd quarter today after scoring 21 points. The bottom lines we make no adjustments at half time and our opponents do.

FINAL: Kansas State blasts Kansas, 59-21

I wish I had counted the number of times that the TV analysts talked about fundamentals. Each time it was how fundamentally sound KSU played and how fundamentally unsound KU played.

Jayhawks land Texas QB Seth Russell

North Texas is coached by 2nd year coach Dan McCarney. McCarney took over as head coach of Iowa State in 1995. Iowa State had three winning seasons in 16 prior to McCarney. He lead them to their first bowl game in 23 years and five bowl games from 200-2005. In all, McCarney has coached in 20 bowl games in 34 years as a collegiate coach, five of which are current BCS bowls. He has coached 22 players that have been drafted by the NFL, including nine that have gone in the first three rounds.

He may not be Bear Bryant or Knute Rockne but we are not Alabama or Notre Dame. But I would think that McCarney has coached good players and should be a better judge of talent than you ahpersecoachingexperience.

KU tries new tactics in getting scalpers to stop selling basketball tickets

Gee - do you think that maybe because of the new FAIR seating policy that ticket sales have droped and they have extra tickets for most games. They want to sell their tickets opposed to a regular ticket holder (or scalper) selling a ticket that screws Lew out of fifty dollars.
