Border War loss 'dagger' for KU women

It was hard to watch. KU would get close and then give up a easy bucket in the paint. Plus MU got open shots on inbound plays under their goal. Fundamental breakdowns that a team with KU's experience should not make. No pass for Bonnie on this one, and especially not against the Tigers.

Baylor women rout KU, 74-46

Baylor thumps everybody. There were some positives for KU. Carolyn extended her range hitting some long jumpers. Strong board work by Aishah. Only one turnover by Angel against very atheletic guards and CeCe got positive minutes off the bench. Good coaching should have them ready to bounce back against The Sooners. We'll see Tuesday.

Kansas guard Keena Mays to transfer

I have followed the women since Danielle McCray's freshman year and I thought Thursday nights starting line up with Keena was the best I have ever seen. I will miss you Keena. Good luck.

KU women rout Wisconsin, 73-44

They valued the ball. Keena looked great in the starting line up. Wisconsin guards hit a few shot over our smaller backcourt, but our quickness kept their blow byes to a minimum. Keep it up.

Crowd fires up Kansas women

TGO is back with a vengeance. I'll make my call now. The women make the NCAA tournament and Bonnie signs a top 25 class this season. And haters, it's a free country, but those of us who support all KU teams suggest you try the newly instituted "if you don't care, don't share" policy. I mean really, why waste your time? Cook some ribs, rake leaves, have a beer. Live what you love.

KU women’s hoops recruits in town

Bonnie might not need anybody else in 2013. Taya is a Top 5 player and was born in Lawrence. You might have heard of her father....Ben Davis!

Four-star guard Caprice Dennis chooses KU women's basketball

I see what you're saying TGO, but see no reason to take it out on Caprice. Her dads a coach and her little sister a starter on a high ranking Detroit team. Someone is working overtime in the Motor City and Asia Boyd looks like she can bring some pain. The team did cut down on the unforced turnovers that killed them on a routine basis in previous years. Toughness, as you point out, and more mature late game strategy would be welcome. Bonnie is well-spoken and a good ambassador, but I wouldn't be signing her a check after the coming season without an NCAA tournament win.
