KU football 2021 roster (June)

I'm not sure if this is a good sign, but I counted over 100 names on the above roster. We might actually have the 85 man limit this year. They are still young, but at least there are enough bodies for practice.

KU assistant Jerrance Howard leaving Kansas to join Chris Beard at Texas

I think what we might be missing is 1st chair assistant at Texas, vs 3rd chair assistant at KU.

4 potential KU football coaching candidates who are established Group of 5 winners

This is 100% correct. We need to bring honor and discipline back to the athletic department.

Jayhawks' 2021 recruiting class loses 3-star O-lineman

Hard to fault a young man with an opportunity to play for one of our military academies. Thank you for you future service and good luck to you in you future endeavors.

Les Miles the 'closer' with KU's virtual recruiting efforts

I'm not sure how to do it, but maybe someone at the paper can also put together a map with pins to show where the different recruits are from. Not just state, but the city. I think at the end of the recruiting cycle, it would show a nice story. If possible, sortable by position and use different colors for the different recruiting classes. At the end of a 5 year cycle, it would really tell a story.

It is obvious that most are coming from the southern states, but seeing a visual would be cool.

Kansas coach Bill Self in no hurry to determine who plays where during 2020-21 season

Matt - No, I haven't read this anywhere. I just looked at the landscape and how it would be possible to play "meaningful" games and decided that the only ones we really care about are conference games and that we don't need to worry about what other conferences do this way.

I did read somewhere that football may defer to the spring semester and the same could occur there with conference-only games.

Kansas coach Bill Self in no hurry to determine who plays where during 2020-21 season

Here is a season prediction to consider with Covid-19.

The season will start earlier than normal while the number of games dramatically reduced. We will see all of the pre-conference tournaments (Maui, Hall of Fame, Wooden, etc...) canceled and teams are forced to reschedule most if not all of their other non-conference games.

We will end up having a season of conference games only spread out to a 1-weekend game per week schedule instead of the normal 2 games per week, thus allowing the season's postseason tourney's to begin on time.

This way no matter what a conference decides (play or not play), it will not impact other conferences. Besides, there are usually only a small select handful of non-con games nationwide worth watching.

Self, some other Kansas coaches returning to offices in limited capacity and with precautions

I think that is why some of them are only in the office for less than 1 hour.

KU administrators, Self, Miles and Long to take 6-month pay cut amid COVID-19 pandemic

The athletic department could save even more money by just ending this ugly lawsuit with the ex-football coach. I can't even say his name he was that bad, but what they are trying to do now is ugly for the university and will ultimately end up costing them more than just paying him off.

500k athletic department savings on a 100m budget is a drop in the bucket and another PR move by AD Long. I'm really beginning to wonder if he is the right man for the job.

Jayhawks add CBs Dotson and Bryant, DE Anokwuru to 2020 class on National Signing Day

One of the things I like is the raw size of the OL/DL recruits. Give them 3 years in a real weight and nutrition program and by the time they are JR's, they could finally be what we need in the trenches.
