Notebook: Michigan's Mitch McGary on low blow: 'It was intentional'

I've talked with a few buddies since EJ's crotch shot... In the hundreds of games we've all played... not a single person can recall a low blow like this. It's hard to believe that EJ did this on purpose. I don't recall seeing anything in his four years at Kansas that would suggest this kind of play. Looking at the replay though... it's hard to view this as unintentional.

Opinion: KU's stunning loss comes down to karma

Tough loss and no doubt... Elijah's turnovers late in the game were critical. His choices with the ball were definitely a big reason, if not "the" reason, we lost the game. You can tell his teammates are definitely frustrated with how he played. However, I still can't look past Elijah's contribution as a Jayhawk. I followed his recruitment while he was at Cheyenne and was glad he picked KU. He's been a tremendous asset to our program. I'm sure that no person is as dejected over this game as Elijah. Thanks for being a Jayhawk Elijah! Best of luck to you!

Hidden highlights: Scout team duties, dunks prep Traylor, McLemore for ‘12-13

Congratulations to Ben and Jamari for getting their academics on track and for staying focused as part of the practice squad. Finish your semesters strong and have a great summer. You both have wonderful opportunties to contribute this coming fall.

Happy Easter!

Expect big things from KU duo

It will be great to have these two young men get the opportunity to step into AFH and compete for serious minutes. Unlike Xavier... what would it be like to have a 6'5" player that could shoot and play defense. Good luck to both Ben and Jamari over the coming months... you will both have opportunities to be impact players.
