Opinion: Jayhawk fans can take over at Rice

I purchased the "extra" sports package from WOW thinking I would be covered. As is typical the case with cable providers, once again, I was wrong.

Opinion: Jayhawk fans can take over at Rice

It is more than a little irritating that this game will not be carried by WOW!. The largest cable provider in Lawrence and the game will not be available. Apparently I just don't understand how this all works but it sure sucks.

Top prospect Andrew Wiggins chooses Kansas

This is quite possibly the dumbest comment I have ever seen on here. DRsmith must be on something.

Jeff Withey, Ben McLemore selected to All-Big 12 first team

A couple of things about Weber I have noticed. When he loses, he rarely gives credit to the opposing team or coach. It is almost always about how his boys didn't play up to their ability. In the KU loss at AFH, which was a blowout loss, he still didn't give credit to KU. Again, it was about his team missing opportunities. After the loss to OSU, he complained about a perceived bad call on Angel Rodriquez vs Marcus Smart saying "Smart flopped like he always does." Where does that come from? I don't think I have ever seen Marcus Smart "flop". Just like it did in Illinois, I believe Weber's act will run thin.

Jayhawks flocked to Elijah Johnson in victorious locker room

brutus, you are obviously a troll and not a Kansas fan. Yes we won both games with ISU and they both went into overtime. Kansas outscored ISU 36 - 16 in the overtimes combined. I would say clearly the best team won by playing the entire game. Scoreboard.

Opinion: Could KU be too nice?

This isn't just on Keegan. Sports talk radio, especially 810, have been declaring the conference race over for weeks now. Also, the Big12 coaches poll, and others, called it early. Keegan is no different than most sports analysts in declaring that the Big12 was locked up by KU.

Opinion: Setback as bad as it gets

This was also stated by all the talk radio boys. Especially 810. Kansas was also voted to finish #1 by the coaches and the press. This isn't on Keegan. This was widespread. And, who knows, KU still might win the conference. Just sayin.

Big 12 media days, Day 1: Wrap-up video, plus KSU linebacker Tre Walker says MU's departure has made KU-KSU rivalry stronger

(65-39-5) Those numbers don't support much of a rivalry. I suppose it is possible that KSU could catch up to KU in 26 years but I doubt it. At least with the KU / MU rivalry, MU kept it close.
