Opinion: Fake punt a risk not worth taking

There were plenty of good candidates that didn't carry the baggage Weis does. You know better than that.

Opinion: Fake punt a risk not worth taking

Going with that gun analogy was worse than any fake punt decision.

Opinion: Former KU golfer Woodland shows glimpses of greatness

Something is off with the passage describing his exempt status/ranking. He would have had to finish in Top 125 of the money list to keep his card and earlier you said he was 66th after Reno win. Could the 125 you write maybe be referencing his Fed Ex cup ranking or is he actually 125 on the money list and not 66?

Charlie Weis' 'pile of crap' comment still the talk of Big 12 media days

Also, the comments "bother everyone else" because it is bad public relations for KU, the athletic department, and the football team. It isn't a commendable thing to be on ESPN for calling past teams a "pile of crap."

Charlie Weis' 'pile of crap' comment still the talk of Big 12 media days

You really expect the players to say they were offended by the comments? How would that go over with Weis and the fan base? Of course they said they were cool with it.

Notebook: Charlie Weis draws attention for 'pile of crap' comment; Marcus Jenkins-Moore has knee surgery

Yes. Also, you think this "age" of recruits appreciates hearing a head coach call out his players like that? They want to be told how great they are. Also, it is horrible, horrible public relations for the team and athletic department and is going to get us killed (again) nationally because of Weis.

The biggest difference between Ben McLemore and Xavier Henry? Perception

I began reading this ready to poke holes all over your argument but it was too sound to do that. In my opinion, the key point is the public perception angle. The drama Henry brought turned people against him while McLemore really seemed to love being a Jayhawk.
