Udoka Azubuike playing with more energy, 'oomph' as Jayhawks head into March

I think Dok will be back. The NBA game has tons of athletic centers that he's not quite there yet to keep up with them. Also, his FT shooting and not having any touch outside of 5ft. But primarily, this year is a huge year from big men coming out of college. If you look at the mock drafts, there are so many big men out there, I don't know that Dok would make the first round. Plus, there are several boards that he isn't even listed at all.
If he'd come back next year, improve his shooting and quickness, he could dominate college basketball interior and really make a name for himself.

Yahoo report ties Josh Jackson's mother to FBI investigation into college basketball

Some logic there, but if they are truly loans as most seem to be when detailed in the report, then there are no taxes to be paid. You don't pay taxes on the funds you take out for a car or home loan.

I also saw that Elijah Johnson was listed on the Yahoo report in the documents for $15,020.

Big 12 Power Rankings: KU-Tech showdown between league's 2 best teams looms

It would just be a share of the title. Same as in 2013 when we beat KSU both games. They still claimed a share of the title.

Big 12 Power Rankings: KU-Tech showdown between league's 2 best teams looms

Is there any chance the KU/TTU game will get flexed to a later time slot being as it's such a big game for the Big 12 race as well as a Top 10 Matchup nationally? 3:15pm seems like such an odd time slot for a high profile game, especially where they are having College GameDay there.

Is today the day for De Sousa or Preston news?

Does anyone know what kind of car he was driving? Josh Selby was suspended for 9 games for accepting $5,787. That equates to $643 per game. Where Preston has missed 16 games, that equates to $10,288 based on the previous precedent. If he was driving a car under that value, let the man play!!

KU coach Bill Self: 'I'm concerned about everything'

First off - I'm talking to the fans - not Bill Self. I'm guessing he isn't going to read my post.

But if you want to go there.....

The year we won in 2008, if you watch the documentary of that season, he himself puts a lot of stress on winning the conference. He even says on camera, "How can we be the best in the country if we aren't even the best in our own league?" They even changed their end of practice huddle to Big 12 Champs instead of Nat'l Champs.

I'm sure he'd rather have two, three, or more Nat'l championship banners hanging. What sane coach wouldn't. To insinuate that my comment suggests otherwise, ....okay......?

KU coach Bill Self: 'I'm concerned about everything'

I'm as bummed as anyone in regards to how this season has played out thus far: the Preston situation and again waiting on the NCAA to clear yet another Freshman, the lack of urgency and toughness, etc...

Why I am not overly confident in continuing 'The Streak', the bigger picture in college basketball is March. As fans, we all know the streak is great but when we are #1 & #2 seeds and never/rarely finish the deal, that's all we hear about. My hope is that Preston and De Sousa can get cleared in the next couple weeks, get integrated into the lineup, bring some toughness and renewed passion to this team, as well as fresh legs, and get ready to make a run in February & March.

As GREAT as the streak has been, I think we as KU fans get caught up in continuing the streak and March Madness has almost become 2nd fiddle somehow. I know I think about the streak first when thinking of KU Bball. Maybe it coming to an end wouldn't be the worst thing in the world and we can get back to being more focused on the END goal - a Nat'l Championship. We don't have to win the league to win it all. We are spoiled in the sense that we've won so many years it's just expected. When Roy was here, we'd go through these types of ups and downs every couple years. I remember being 6/8/9/10 seeds a few years with Roy. Bill's never had a seeding worse than a #4 or #5 since being at KU. The sky isn't falling because of one down year. We're spoiled! Let's get over ourselves, cheer on this team and staff, and who knows...they just might surprise us in the end.

Will KU be able to shake the NCAA shooting jitters? Plus, predictions for KU-UNC in the Elite Eight

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Teahan. I think he gets out of his slump and has a shooting day of like 4 of 6 from deep.
I'll take KU by 1 with Taylor hitting the winning shot inside of 20 seconds.
