Great answers Tait. I can honestly say I agree 100% with all of them. Avery looks like the real deal and I'm excited to see how Harwell can handle the hype. I wish I had your guys' job though. Exactly why I'm going back to KU in the spring for Journalism so eventually I can. Any advice? Haha

Best advice I can give you is this: It's a blast and we feel very fortunate to have such wonderful jobs, but it's not all fun and games. There's a lot of grunt work, a lot of grinding (late nights and weekends) and a lot of paying your dues that takes place pretty much every step of the way.

The three most important tips that don't have anything to do with the actual writing part: 1. Work your butt off, 2. Remember who you're writing for (your readers), 3. Don't ever view anything on your beat as too little or insignificant.

Good luck. And thanks for checking out our stuff!

Thanks for the advice, sir! And my guess is that working hard at a job you love is much better than working hard a job you can't stand. As long as I love it, the working hard part will never be an issue. Thanks again Tait!
