The Kansas basketball team is officially practicing again and the KU football team plays at Sunflower State rival Kansas State at 11 a.m. on Saturday in Manhattan. But the big news surrounding both programs in the past week was the departure of one of their better-known players. Bill Self's squad lost Silvio De Sousa last Friday and the KU football team found out that star running back Pooka Williams was opting out of the rest of the season on Monday.
