Four-star combo guard Chris Johnson committed to Kansas on Aug. 2, 2022, making him the Jayhawks' first commitment in the Class of 2023.
The University of Kansas men’s basketball program landed its first oral commitment in the 2023 recruiting class on Tuesday evening, when four-star prospect Chris Johnson announced his plans to attend KU. On Wednesday, Johnson and his mentor, former Texas Longhorn T.J. Ford, told the Journal-World why KU was the right fit. By Matt Tait
