The Kansas football program’s quarterback depth for 2022 took a hit when two reserves — Miles Kendrick and Conrad Hawley — decided to leave via the transfer portal.
Two of the least experienced quarterbacks on the Kansas football roster aren’t expected to be needed any time in the final weeks of the season. But that doesn’t mean freshmen Conrad Hawley and Ben Easters are taking an idle approach to their development.
Regardless of how much — or little — they end up playing when the 2021 season arrives, the two least experienced quarterbacks on the Kansas football roster are off to a good start this spring, according to their teammates and interim head coach.
