The Kansas University football program received some much-welcomed good news earlier this week, when Arkansas running back Denzel Evans revealed that he was planning to graduate early from Arkansas to transfer to KU. Though still unproven, the addition of Evans would add depth and experience to a thin KU backfield. But the Jayhawks gained help at that position this offseason in ways other than player additions. After battling through nagging injuries for the past five or six weeks, Kansas University running back Ke’aun Kinner is finally back, and he’s ready for Saturday’s 11 a.m. showdown at TCU.
During Kansas University’s 59-20 loss at Texas Saturday night, junior running back Ke’aun Kinner showed the burst that has eluded him since he rushed for 100 yards in back-to-back games to open the season.
