Kansas outside linebacker Steven Parker rushes toward Baylor quarterback Charlie Brewer in Waco, Texas, on Sept. 26, 2020.

A few details for the first three games on the Kansas football schedule are now in place, as the Big 12 announced Thursday kickoff times and television plans for the early season slate.

The Jayhawks’ nonconference trip to Coastal Carolina on Sept. 10 will start at 6:30 p.m. and air on ESPN2.

KU’s Big 12 opener the following week versus Baylor (Sept. 18) will kick off at 2:30 p.m. and be available to stream on ESPN+.

KU already had revealed its season and home opener, Sept. 3 versus South Dakota, would be a 7 p.m. Friday game on ESPN+, and that the Coastal game would be on a Friday, too.

Specifics for the remaining nine games on KU’s schedule will be announced at later dates. TV plans and kickoff times for Big 12 games are revealed either 12 or six days prior to the matchups being played.
