The Texas football program returned to some normalcy on Wednesday, three days after pausing all team activities.
UT announced the Longhorns, who are scheduled to close their regular season Saturday at Kansas, were cleared to participate in “limited outdoor team activities with appropriate precautions.”
The football program had paused its typical operations Sunday, after three football players and two staff members tested positive for COVID-19.
The Longhorns (6-3 overall, 5-3 Big 12) and Jayhawks (0-9, 0-8) have a slightly new time and a different TV channel for their matchup, the Big 12 announced Wednesday afternoon. Assuming no further complications arise, the game will kick off at 3 p.m. on Saturday and air on ESPN2.
