Tadokoro paces Jayhawks on Day 2 of Lady Paladin Invitational

It was another solid outing for the Kansas women’s golf team, which remains in fifth place following the completion of the second round of the Lady Paladin Invitational in Greenville, S.C.

Junior Sera Tadokoro continued her torrid pace by shooting par on 10 holes and carding four birdies on the second day. She ended the day with an even score (72) and tied for fourth place.

It was also another solid day for sophomore Pear Pooratanaopa and junior Aristelle Acuff. Pooratanaopa ended the day tied for 16th place after shooting 4-over par (76) with two birdies while carding 11 pars. Acuff stayed consistent following the first day and finished just outside of the top 20 in a tie for 25th place while shooting 3-over par (75).

Kansas will play in the third round at 8 a.m. Sunday.
