KU soccer suffers 5-2 loss to Oklahoma State

The Kansas women’s soccer team surrendered four scores to begin the match in an eventual 5-2 road loss Thursday night to Oklahoma State.

OSU scored three goals in the first half to take control of the contest. Camy Huddleston netted the first score in the ninth minute. Charmé Morgan and Julia Lenhardt both scored in the first half as well for the Cowboys.

KU scored both of its goals after 50 minutes of action. Ceri Holland recorded a goal on an assist by Katie McClure in the 52nd minute, while Mandi Duggan tallied a goal in the 61st minute of the match.

Kansas (9-4, 1-2 Big 12) will travel to Oklahoma at 7 p.m. Thursday.
