Baseball games against Texas Southern moved to Texas

By Staff Report     Feb 20, 2019

Kansas and Texas Southern officials announced Wednesday that the four-game series slated for this weekend at Hoglund Ballpark has been moved to the Melissa Sports Complex in Melissa, Texas.

“With snow and other inclement weather hitting the Lawrence, Kansas area, moving the series to the Melissa Sports Complex will give us the best opportunity to play all four games,” head coach Ritch Price said in a team release.

The Jayhawks and Tigers will play a doubleheader on Friday, Feb. 22 starting at 11 a.m. The final two games of the series will be played at 11 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.
