Iowa State scored a run on a wild pitch in the top of the eighth inning to upend the Kansas softball team, 4-3, on Saturday at Arrocha Ballpark at Rock Chalk Park.
Kansas scored all three of its runs in the fifth inning with RBI single from Erin McGinley and Jessie Roane and an RBI double from Harli Ridling.
McGinley, Roane and Becki Monaghan paced the Jayhawks with two hits each.
The Jayhawks (26-25, 1-16) will play their regular season finale against Iowa State at noon Sunday at Arrocha Ballpark at Rock Chalk Park.
