KU cross country wins Bob Timmons Dual Classic

The University of Kansas men’s and women’s cross country teams both ran to first-place finishes at the Bob Timmons Dual Classic on Saturday at Rim Rock Farm.

Senior Ben Burchstead paced the KU men with a 6,000-meter time of 19:10.2, which was good for second place.

Kansas junior Alaina Schroeder was the individual runner-up in the women’s race with a 5,000-meter time of 18:04.6.

Up next for the Jayhawks will be the Rim Rock Classic on Sept. 30 at Rim Rock Farm.
