KU softball falls to Iowa State

Iowa State scored three runs in the second inning and held on for a 3-2 victory over Kansas in Big 12 softball Saturday in Ames, Iowa.

Jessie Roane drove in both of KU’s runs, with a first-inning double and a third-inning fielder’s choice.

The Jayhawks (24-27 overall, 3-13 Big 12) and Cyclones (22-32, 5-12) will meet in the series finale at noon today.
