Kansas’ baseball team scored 11 runs in the fourth inning and defeated Texas Southern, 20-4, on Friday night at Hoglund Ballpark.
Rudy Karre, James Cosentino and Benjamin Sems homered for the Jayhawks, who improved to 24-22.
Karre, Cosentino, Sems and Jaxx Groshans each drove in three runs.
The series continues with a doubleheader at 2 p.m. today.
