Kansas softbal splits pair

Sophomore pitcher Alexis Reid pitched her fourth shutout of the season as Kansas softball defeated Lamar, 1-0, on Saturday in Beaumont, Texas. Reid allowed six hits, striking out three.

KU track 2nd at Big 12 Indoor

Kansas track and field secured a runner-up finish at the Big 12 Indoor Championship Saturday at the Lied Recreation Center in Ames, Iowa, with the Kansas men finishing 13 points behind overall champion Texas and the women posting a fifth-place finish. The teams scored 110.5 points and 81 points, respectively, over the two-day meet.

Stanford blanks Kansas baseball
