Warren’s slam lifts KU softball

Junior Mikayla Warren’s grand slam in a six-run sixth inning led Kansas to an 8-5 road win over Texas Tech on Friday night. The Jayhawks increased their winning streak over the Red Raiders to four dating to a series sweep in 2016.

Kansas and Texas Tech will play the second game of a three-game series at 4 p.m. today at Rocky Johnson Field.
