Two Kansas University athletes — tennis player Anastasiya Rychagova and Sharon Lokedi of the women’s track team — earned Big 12 weekly honors Wednesday.
Rychagova, a freshman, helped KU claim back-to-back wins over top-45 teams Arkansas and Purdue last week as the Jayhawks improved to 4-0.
Lokedi, a sophomore, ran the fastest 3,000-meter time in the 30-year history of Anschutz Pavilion on Friday night at the Jayhawk Classic.
