Tommy Mirabelli and David Kyriacou each had three hits, and Ty Denzer belted a grand slam as Kansas University’s baseball team defeated Baker, 19-2, on Wednesday night at Hoglund Ballpark.

“It was good to see some of the young guys swing the bats,” KU coach Ritch Price said. “You have to take advantage of opportunities, and those three guys did today.”

The Jayhawks (16-20) will meet Samford on Friday night in Birmingham, Ala.
