KU men’s golfers 8th at Bulls Bay

? Kansas University’s men’s golf team placed eighth among 15 teams Tuesday at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate.

KU’s Charlie Hillier shot an even-par 72 in the final round and tied for third place with a three-day total of 3-under 213. He was two strokes behind individual winner Keenan Huskey of South Carolina.

Other KU scores: Connor Peck (214 tied for sixth), Ben Welle (220, tied for 36th), Chase Hanna (224, tied for 51st) and Daniel Hudson (233, tied for 71st).

KU will next compete in the Great River Entertainment Invitational on April 16-17 in Iowa City, Iowa.
