Hillier in 7th for KU men’s golf

? Freshman Charlie Hillier shot a 2-under 70 to put himself in a tie for seventh place after the first round of the Hootie at Bulls Bay Men’s Golf Intercollegiate on Sunday at Bulls Bay Golf Club.

As a team, KU is tied for eighth at 3-over 291.

Charleston Southern leads at 273.

Other KU scores: Ben Welle, tied for 23rd, 72; Connor Peck, tied for 30th, 73; and Chase Hanna and Daniel Hudson, tied for 52nd, 76.
