Kansas University’s tandem of Nadia Khechfe and Graylyn Jones placed third and fourth, respectively, in the one-meter competition Friday at the KU Dive Invite at Robinson Natatorium.
Khechfe posted a score of 475.15 and held a firm grasp on third place throughout prelims and finals.
“Her experience over the years in diving showed. She was able to game it today,” Kansas diving coach Gabe Downey said.
Jones moved up from fifth to fourth after the preliminary dives on her way to a final score of 463.65.
The KU Dive Invite will resume at 10 a.m. today with the three-meter prelims.
