Joe Dineen, who did not let the scoreboard curb his enthusiasm, had 16 tackles, all of them by the solo variety.

Gassers

After a well executed play-action fake and accurate pass from Ryan Willis, Tre’ Parmalee caught the ball, did not tuck it and fumbled it, a turnover that led to a West Virginia touchdown.

D.J. Williams was flagged for in the ref’s words, “head-butting” the quarterback.
