The Big 12 Conference announced Monday morning that Kansas football’s season finale, Nov. 28 at home against Kansas State, would kickoff at 3 p.m. and be televised by FOX Sports 1.
That game will mark KU’s sixth appearance on FS1 this season.
KU leads the all-time series with KSU, 65-42-5, including a 37-17-2 mark in games played in Lawrence. But the Jayhawks enter the 2015 finale having dropped six consecutive contests to Kansas State, including three-straight in Lawrence.
Both the Jayhawks and Wildcats enter this week winless in Big 12 play. K-State (3-6 overall, 0-6 Big 12) will take on Iowa State at home at 11 a.m. while the Jayhawks (0-10, 0-7) play host to West Virginia at 11 a.m.
Kansas State needs to win its final three games to become bowl eligible — the Wildcats play West Virginia at home on Dec. 5 — adding yet another storyline to this year’s Sunflower Showdown.
