San Antonio ? Kansas University’s Yupaporn Kawinpakorn shot a 5-under 67 on Thursday to tie for first after the first round at the NCAA Regional. Kawinpakorn was tied with Baylor’s Hayley Davis for first in the 96-player field.
“Mook had an outstanding round today.” KU coach Erin O’Neil said of Kawinpakorn. “Overall, her game is the best I have ever seen it, especially her mental game.”
