Kansas University senior softball player Maddie Stein has been named Big 12 player of the week. Stein hit .500 over five games.
The Jayhawks had been scheduled to host Drake on Tuesday, but the game was canceled because of rain. KU will host Texas for a three-game series Friday through Sunday.
