? Kansas University’s Minami Levonowich tied for 45th, and the Jayhawks finished 13th among 15 teams Tuesday in the Arizona Wildcat women’s golf invitational.

Levonowich fired a final-round of 2-over 74 for a 10-over 226 total. KU’s Yupaporn Kawinpakorn shot a final-round 76 for a 227 total and a tie for 49th.

Other KU finishers: T53. Pornvipa Sakdee, 228; T75. Gabriella DiMarco, 238; 82. Kallie Gonzales (individual), 245; T84. Pitsinee Winyarat, 248.

“We played the back nine much better but couldn’t capitalize on making up more ground on our second nine of the day,” KU coach Erin O’Neil said. “Our first round is what really hurt us and put us too far behind from the get go. It’s crucial that we learn how to keep it at bogey at worse and eliminate the big numbers. We learned from our mistakes and made better decisions in rounds two and especially in the final round today.”

Southern California won the team title by 11 strokes.
