Kansas University’s Madison Harrison defeated TCU’s Paulina Dubavets, 6-3, 6-3, to give the Jayhawks their only victory in a 4-1 Big 12 tennis loss to the Horned Frogs on Sunday at the Jayhawk Tennis Center.
“We just dug ourselves too many holes today against a good team,” Kansas coach Todd Chapman said. “I think the fight was there, we definitely played much better in second sets across the board.”
The 27th-ranked Frogs swept doubles to take the doubles point, then picked up three straight-set singles victories to secure the win.
Kansas will host Iowa State at 3:30 p.m. Friday at JTC.
