? Kansas University’s women’s golf team fell two spots in the team standings Tuesday to finish 12th at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate.

KU senior Minami Levonowich placed 35th overall to lead the Jayhawks after shooting a final round of 7-over (79). Yupaporn Kawinpakorn was one stroke behind Levonowich with a three-day total of 231, and earned a tie of 38th place.

Kawinpakorn carded a final round of 82.

“We didn’t finish well our last four to five holes, we gave away at least nine shots, a lot of which were on putting,” KU coach Erin O’Neil said. “The main thing we can do is practice our short game, especially our putting, as much as possible the next two weeks to build up our confidence.”

Pornvipa Sakdee highlighted the day for the Jayhawks with a team-low round of 77.

LSU coasted to the team title, edging Florida and UCLA by 12 strokes.
