KU softball improves to 7-0

? Kansas University’s softball team raised its record to 7-0 with a pair of shutout victories Friday.

The Jayhawks blanked Bradley, 8-0, and New Mexico State, 6-0.

Senior Chanin Naudin hit a grand slam to cap KU’s shutout of New Mexico State. Naudin’s long ball highlighted a five-run seventh inning for the Jayhawks and gave KU starting pitcher Alicia Pille plenty of insurance in the complete-game shutout.

In KU’s victory over Bradley, Monique Wesley pitched a one-hit shutout.
