KU women’s golf slips past Tulsa

? Kansas University senior Minami Levonowich shot a 1-under 71 to tie for individual honors as KU opened its spring women’s golf season with a 292-299 victory over Tulsa on Sunday at the Patriot Golf Course.

Levonowich tied Tulsa’s Nadia Majidizadeh for the victory.

KU’s other placers: Lizzie Winyarat, 72, third; Yupaporn Kawinpakorn, 74, fourth; and Pornvipa Sakdee, 75, fifth. Kansas’ other scores: Michelle Woods, 76; MacKenzie Sexe, 78; Carly Humes, 80; and Kallie Gonzales, Mackenzie Thayer and Gabriella DiMarco, 82.
