Las Vegas ? Kansas University’s tennis team made short work of Pacific, claiming the doubles point and the first three singles matches to clinch the victory in an eventual 6-1 win Sunday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
Kansas’ Maria Jose Cardona-Maria Belen Ludueña at No. 1 and Madison Harrison-Smith Hinton at No. 2 won doubles matches before Harrison (No. 3), Hinton (No. 4) and Rachel McNeely (No. 6) won straight-set singles matches to clinch the win.
KU, which won two of three matches over the weekend in Vegas, will host Houston on Saturday at the Jayhawk Tennis Center.
