San Antonio Kansas University’s Pornvipa Sakdee placed fourth and Yupaporn Kawinpakorn tied for fifth at the Big 12 Women’s Golf Championship on Sunday at Dominion Country Club.
Sakdee finished at even-par 216, and Kawinpakorn was in a four-way tie for fifth a stroke back.
Oklahoma State’s Kenzie Niesen and Baylor’s Laura Lonardi tied for first at 212.
As a team, KU placed eighth in the nine-team field with 906. Baylor won with 867. The only team behind Kansas in the standings, Kansas State, shot 910.
KU’s other golfers: Minami Levonowich, tied for 40th, 233; Gabriella DiMarco, 44th, 240; and Pitsinee Winyarat, 45th, 252.
