Jayhawks 4-5 at Big 12 women’s golf

? Kansas University’s Pornvipa Sakdee placed fourth and Yupaporn Kawinpakorn tied for fifth at the Big 12 Women’s Golf Championship on Sunday at Dominion Country Club.

Sakdee finished at even-par 216, and Kawinpakorn was in a four-way tie for fifth a stroke back.

Oklahoma State’s Kenzie Niesen and Baylor’s Laura Lonardi tied for first at 212.

As a team, KU placed eighth in the nine-team field with 906. Baylor won with 867. The only team behind Kansas in the standings, Kansas State, shot 910.

KU’s other golfers: Minami Levonowich, tied for 40th, 233; Gabriella DiMarco, 44th, 240; and Pitsinee Winyarat, 45th, 252.
