According to a report in The Denver Post, current Denver Broncos and former Kansas University cornerback Aqib Talib and his brother, Yaqub, are under investigation for possible involvement in an aggravated assault at a downtown Dallas nightclub early Wednesday morning.
The report indicates that the incident began with a physical altercation involving the Talib brothers and ended with a man firing a gun outside of the club.
“We have been in touch with Aqib regarding these reports and will continue to monitor this situation,” Broncos vice president of public relations Patrick Smyth told The Post.
Talib, 29, is a seven-year veteran of the NFL and in his second season with Denver. He began his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before playing for the New England Patriots.
