KU baseball falls to Sooners, 6-3

? Kansas University managed just six hits in a 6-3 Big 12 baseball loss to Oklahoma on Friday at L. Dale Mitchell Stadium.

Oklahoma (21-12 overall, 5-3 Big 12) jumped to a 3-0 lead in the first inning and never trailed, though Kansas (11-19, 1-4) tried to make a game of it by answering with a two-run second.

The score held at 3-2 until the seventh, when OU pulled away with two more runs.

Colby Wright (3-for-3, run scored) had half of KU’s hits. Blake Weiman (0-5) took the loss.

The teams will conclude their series at 2 p.m. today.
