Boulder, Colo. ? Liana Salazar scored off a cross by Ali Kimura to give Kansas University a 2-1, double-overtime soccer victory over Colorado on Friday at Prentup Field.
Salazar has six goals in five contests, including at least one in every game for KU (5-0).
“The girls did a great job of executing in the second half and overtime,” Kansas coach Mark Francis said. “Liana had a great goal at the end.”
The Jayhawks improved to 5-0 for just the third time in school history and first time since 2009. CU fell to 3-2.
Lois Heuchan scored the first goal in the 69th minute, but the Buffaloes countered 12 minutes later.
Kansas will face Denver at 1 p.m. Sunday in Denver.
