Kiawah Island, S.C. ? Kansas University’s Yupaporn Kawinpakorn took second place Tuesday at the Palmetto Intercollegiate at Turtle Point Golf Course. Kawinpakorn fired a final-round 68.
KU took fifth in the 20-team field. The Jayhawks had an 897 three-round total. Other KU scores: Ponvipa Sakdee, tied for 20th, 223; Minami Levonowich, tied for 46th, 231; Michelle Woods, tied for 69th, 236; and Gabriella DiMarco, tied for 87th, 240.
