Kansas’ Sakdee in 5th at Palmetto

? Kansas University sophomore Pornvipa Sakdee shot a 1-under 71 to move into a tie for fifth place after Day Two of the Palmetto Women’s Golf Intercollegiate on Monday at Turtle Point Golf Course.

KU teammate Yupaporn Kawinpakorn shot a 76 and is a stroke behind Sakdee in a tie for ninth place with a two-round 145.

Kansas’ other scores: Minami Levonowich and Michelle Woods, tied for 52nd, 154; and Gabriella DiMarco, tied for 64th, 156.

KU is in fourth place at 591, behind Coastal Carolina (572), GRU Augusta (584) and Furman (590).

The tournament will conclude with 18 holes today.
