KU women’s golf 2nd in Colorado

? Yupaporn Kawinpakorn and Pornvipa Sakdee placed 2-3, and Kansas University’s women’s golf team finished runner-up at the Ron Moore Women’s Intercollegiate on Sunday.

Kawinpakorn placed second overall in the 75-golfer field with a three-round score of 215 (-1), two strokes behind tourney winner Olivia Eliasson from Kansas State

Sakdee was one place and two strokes behind her teammate.

K-State won the team title with 877 strokes, while KU was second at 884.

Kansas’ other results: Minami Levonowich, tied for eighth, 223; Gabriella DiMarco, tied for 13th, 230; Michelle Woods, tied for 17th, 231; and Pitsinee Winyarat, tied for 51st, 238.

KU will travel to the Palmetto Intercollegiate Oct. 26-28 in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
