KU golfers 5th at Lady Jaguar

? Yupaporn Kawinpakorn shot a 5-over-par 77, and Kansas University’s women’s golf team held fifth place after the first round of the 3M Lady Jaguar Intercollegiate on Friday at Forest Hills Golf Club.

Kawinpakorn was tied for 12th to lead the Jayhawks. KU’s Thanuttra Boonraksasat fired a 79 to tie for 20th in the 75-player field. Minami Levonowich and Meghan Potee each shot 80 to tie for 30th. And Pornvipa Sakdee opened with an 81 to tie for 39th. Gabriella DiMarco competed as an individual for the Jayhawks and finished in a tie for 68th with an 87.
