The Big 12 Conference honored six Kansas University athletes among the 64 recipients of its Dr. Gerald Lage Award, the league’s highest academic award.
The KU honorees, who earned a 3.80 GPA in at least 100 credit hours, were Caty Clements (Rowing), Liz Scherer (Rowing), Amy Wehrs (Volleyball), Jessie Jacob (Rowing), Deanna Marks (Swimming and Diving) and Jonathan Miller (Track and Field).
