Austin, Texas ? Kansas University sophomore Chelsie Miller followed up her historic Big 12 title in the 400 IM on Friday by adding a runner-up finish in the 1650-yard freestyle on Saturday at the league meet.
The KU 400 free relay team of Morgan Sharp, Haley Molden, Pia Pavlic and Leah Pfitzer also placed second as the Jayhawks finished as runners-up in the team standings. KU totaled 617 points to champion Texas’ 1109.5. Only five Big 12 schools competed at the meet.
Miller was given the Swimmer of the Meet award, and Kansas coach Clark Campbell earned Coach of the Meet honors.
